Our Associate Director, Audrey Wall, has written two articles that appear in the most recent on-line addition of this local arts and culture magazine. These two articles share more about this year's StoryFest Authors and the second is on how we made it through the summer season while living in a pandemic.
Thank you Audrey, for these great recaps!
The Greenwood Centre for Living History is delighted to announce the appointment of Geneviève Grenier as its new Executive Director, effective February 15, 2020. Geneviève replaces Terry O’Shaughnessy who has retired and who leaves behind a remarkable list of outstanding and varied contributions. Terry will continue at Greenwood as an experienced and valued volunteer. Audrey Wall, Greenwood’s longest serving administrator, will continue in her role as Associate Director of the Centre.
Geneviève Grenier has worked at Greenwood as a volunteer in several capacities, some of which have been Co-ordinator of the Greenwood Volunteer Tour Guides, Membership Co-ordinator, and an organizer in the early days of StoryFest for Kids. She graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies, and has been a volunteer of several local not-for-profit organizations including Le Nichoir and as the Library Coordinator at École St. Thomas, as well as being a Board member of CPE Treehouse.
A Hudson resident, Geneviève is fully bilingual, and brings many varied skills, as well as a passion for Greenwood, to her new job. She is well-prepared to lead the dedicated volunteers into the next chapter of Greenwood’s remarkable story.
