Canadian Heritage of Quebec

The Canadian Heritage of Quebec (CHQ) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the preservation of lands and buildings of beauty or historic interest in the Province of Quebec. It was incorporated in 1960 by a group of concerned individuals from Montreal led by Jack Molson.

Its activities are funded primarily through a private foundation, but also receives generous support from the Quebec Government for properties it has classified.

Canadian Heritage of Quebec is the owner or steward of over 20 properties. Greenwood Centre for Living History (Hudson) is one of their most sustainable sites.
